Joining Our Team

  • The Board of the SCCM Northern California Chapter is instrumental in planning events for critical care professionals that further our Mission via:

    • Education Opportunities, such as instructor-led courses and webinars

    • Networking events during the SCCM Congress and in the Bay Area during the year

​

  • Our multidisciplinary Board includes volunteer-based, elected positions either as an Officer or on the Board of Directors

    • Nominations are accepted in December for open positions.

    • Elections are held after SCCM Congress in January or February.

    • Officer and Board of Director positions have a 3-year term length.

    • Officers and Board of Directors may have up to 2 consecutive terms.

    • All disciplines in critical care welcome to apply! Must maintain current Chapter membership to be eligible to hold office. President/President-Elect must have been BOD member for at least 1 year (current or past BOD eligible).

    • More information on the positions is included in our Bylaws

 

  • Meetings

    • Board meetings occur virtually every 4-6 weeks depending on ability and need.

    • Committee meetings may occur more frequently depending on our event schedule.
