Greetings fellow SCCM Northern California Chapter Members!

 

Our Chapter election concluded at the Tuesday, February 13 Annual Business Meeting. We are pleased to report the results!

 

Warm congratulations to our new President-Elect Kathleen S. Romanowski, MD, FACS, FCCM (also a current Board member), and to our newest Board of Directors member David J. Wallace, MD, MPH!

​

Dr. Romanowski will spend 2024 as President-Elect working closely with me to transition into the role, then take over as your Chapter President 2025-2027. I'll spend 2025 in continued support as Immediate Past President. Dr. Wallace will be seated immediately on the Board of Directors for the 2024-2026 term. I'm excited to see what we all can accomplish together this year.

The Board of Directors and Officers of SCCM NorCal have an exciting panel of events planned, including our 7th Annual Pharmacy Research Symposium June 5, Pediatric FCCS September 13, and ICU Liberation in Santa Rosa in October and Eureka in November. Dates and locations to be announced shortly. Journal club/lecture series will also go live this year, with much more information to come soon!
