We are a non-stock, not-for-profit corporation established exclusively for scientific and educational purposes. Our purpose is to improve care for acute life-threatening illnesses and injuries, to promote the development of optimal facilities for this purpose, and to engage in any and all lawful activities incidental to the foregoing purposes. We value our current members and welcome new members.

Our Mission

  • Promote professional education in the field of critical care medicine. 
  • Promote proper application of clinical and research experience to the practice of critical care medicine.
  • Develop and project competencies in the field of critical care medicine and improve patient care through continuing education programs. 
  • Assist members address issues pertaining to providing critical care to communities. 
  • Promote the highest standards of care in the delivery of critical care medicine.
  • Advance local medical community awareness of the concept and practice of critical care medicine.
